AHAHAHAa....yeah, Big Kid used to just CRINGE at the thought of me going to school to meet with the teachers. And he had the NERVE to make me stop two blocks from school to drop him off. He couldn't risk being seen with his MOTHER...and in a MINI VAN, God no.

Average is short for Grade Point Average. Meaning she wants to know her grade in that class up to that point.
Why is it embarrassing for her mom to contact her teachers? Good question. I'm not 16 anymore (OMG...I'm 16x2!). Maybe if I was 16 I could figure out why a mom caring is so "embarrassing". Tee hee. I can't wait to embarrass my kids. ;)
